Jeanine, I miss your sweet friendship on Facebook! Although we had only been "cyber" friends for a short time and never had the chance to meet in person, I could tell you were a super sweet lady, I felt as though we were already good friends and knew that friendship would have grown tremendously over time. I feel a sense of emptiness now when I'm on Facebook... we seemed to have quite a bit in common and I always enjoyed reading your comments. You are loved and missed dearly, sweet lady!

Didn't see each other for many years. But getting to see you a couple years ago is now a time myself and my family will cherish. When I let my wife Debbie and daughter Lauren know you had passed they both cried, they had only met you during that short time we were in Vegas, that is the type of impact you made on all whom were lucky enough to know you. "Mom" will be missed. I knew Jeanine through her awesome children Amanda and Ty. She was one of the nicest most lovable people I've ever met. I called her mom because that's how she made you feel. I think a lot of people called her mom. She was my beer pong partner and we were champs together! Love and miss you always "mom" may your soul rest and be as free as it was on this earth.

Jeanine and I started working at Zappos around the same time, 5 years ago, but we didn't officially meet until September 2011. We were on the same team for a year and sat right next to each other. We became great friends and she was like a mom to me. I will miss the walks we took on our breaks and lunches and all of our talks. She always had great advice and was so positive. She was such a free spirit and I loved everything about her. I love you so much, Jeanine!!

I had the pleasure of sitting next to jeanine this past year. We've known of each other being "vets" at Zappos but when you sit next to someone, you build a different kind of bond. You weather the storm with situations and celebrate accomplishments work or personally related. I'm so happy to have shared that bond with you Jeanine! I'm so blessed to of seen you day in and day out. I thank you for the amazing convos and all the great laughs. I will always remember your young spirit and that spunk you had. Jeanine, I met your family by what I think was fate. I needed care for my son and I met your wonderful daughter who in a short time I have come to love. The first time I actually got to talk to you I knew what a genuine woman you were and family you had raised. You made Sean and I feel right at home. I've known Jeanine since we were 14 and freshmen in high school. She has been my best friend all these years even though we were rarely close in miles after graduation. We shared many sleep overs when we were young and even some in the past couple of years. I remember lying in bed in her room when we were in high school listening to records and talking about all the things we'd do together after we left Leon, KS. When we had the rare chance to be together in recent years, the laughs didn't stop. We would reminiscence and she would crack me up with the details she remembered. We could stay up all night and never run out of things to talk about. She was that rare friend one finds you can tell anything to. We've done some crazy things together and I was so looking forward to more crazy days with my best friend. I miss you and love you Jeanine.

Our conversation were never short and sweet. We started off every one of them with Jeanine pushing those glasses up on her nose and they ended with such great laughs and some even better advise. Jeanine was an awesome lady and she was always a shoulder to lean on when I needed a talk or so good ole what to do advise. She will truly be missed. Jeanine- I remember when I first met you. I thought "Who is this loud woman who popped up on the next row over and started talking to me like she knows me?" lol It didn't take a minute for your big ole Texas heart to reel me right in. Funny, loving caring.... there are so many words that describe you. The fact that we're both huge on family is probably one of the major things we shared. Although I mourn your passing, I celebrate your life and our friendship. You were definitely taken from us way too soon (we weren't done with you yet!!!), but we are all so much richer for having known you. My heart goes out to your kids and grandkids, but again, I celebrate the time that they had you. Never ever ever will they have cause to doubt your love for them, nor did you doubt theirs for you. I am so saddened by the passing of Jeanine. I met her a few years ago when we were in WW together here @ Zappos. I always saw her with a smile on her face and we would stop and talk sometime in passing. I have always seen her as an upbeat person and will miss her smiling face here, as I know everyone will but I know that she will be the angel watching over all of you.
