Linda Sylvester Obituary

LINDA SYLVESTER Linda Sylvester, 60, of Florence, Ore., passed away Feb. 21, 2012. She was born June 5, 1951. Linda grew up in Las Vegas and lived there for most of her life, before moving to the Oregon Coast with her husband, Craig. She had a special love for children and countless parents would credit Linda for helping them raise their kids. Linda spent much of her time knitting, crocheting, painting, and creating an incredible array of craft projects. She leaves a legacy of effortless talent that will remain in the thoughts of all who knew this incredible woman. Linda warmed the hearts of everyone she met and she left us with countless memories of her love and laughter. She will forever be missed. Linda is survived by her husband, Craig Sylvester; daughter, Robin Moses of Florence; son, Dennis Looney of Lake Oswego, Ore.; and many, many grandchildren and other relatives she dearly loved. A private family gathering will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family requests financial contributions to assist her husband with medical bills. I loved my Aunt Linda so much. She was the most talented and amazing woman I know. She would drop everything to help someone in need. I miss her so much. I loved that she helped me raise Russell and because of that he was very close to Tyler, his cousin. I love you Robin and Dennis and I hope you will both keep in touch.
