How can a heart be shattered into so many pieces? Mine did the day you left me.
A day doesn't go by that I don't think of you, miss you, wish you were still here, die to hear your voice just one more time, hold you in my arms and tell you I love you.
Life is so hard without you by my side and I hate that I have to keep on living this life without you in it.
You were my best friend, my lover and my safe place to land should I fall. I am so afraid I will fall one day and who will be there to catch me now?
A day doesn't go by that I don't shed a tear for my loss or even bawl like a baby because you are no longer here sharing our life together. We were suppose to grow old together but that was cut short, because you did pass away way too young.
My biggest wish is that it had been me that died that day and not you. You had so much more to give then I ever had or will.
Until we meet again my love...I will always love you forever in this "shattered" heart of mine.

Krandpa Mike, I love you more then you probably knew and had some of the best times with you. You were always an awesome grandpa to me and you were funny too, and that's why I want to be just like you! But I still wish you could have told me about Area 51! I love and miss you more then the world itself. Rest In Peace Grandpa.

They say time heals all wounds, so I threw my watch away
If I had one more day with him, so many things I would want to say
I see a part of him, when I look in my childrens eyes
The pictures of us together will always make me cry
I know he is feeling better, all his pain and worries are taken away
and I will see him once again, oh what a beautiful day
We will sing songs together
And laugh as the angels play
He will wrap me in his arms, and for eternity there I will stay
I know he is looking down at me, because I feel the warmth on my face
And I know he is smiling back at me, because I can feel his sweet embrace
I remember the words I told him, until death do us part
I may not see him next to me, but he is forever in my heart.
I always appreciated that Mike and Vikki always made me feel welcome, even when I first met them. Mike was always an easy person to talk to and I am happy that I got to share a conversation or two with him

Daddy, you are my first hero and no matter how old I am you are always "my daddy". You're the guy who killed the bugs, pinched my taters for me, chicken wired my radiator, fixed anything I needed & always came to my rescue. Dear Vikki,
Although we have never met, you & Mike became part of our lives & our family & we loved sharing stories with you. I shall always smile remembering his collection of junk that drove you crazy & his fondness for Cadbury Creme eggs. He leaves a huge heart-shaped hole & will be missed greatly in this little corner of England.
