Stefanie Chandler Obituary

Stefanie Ann Chandler, 20, passed away Jan. 29, 2005. Born Dec. 19, 1984, in Las Vegas, she was a lifelong resident. Stefanie was a graduate of Silverado High School, where she was a member of the cheerleading team, and was currently a student at UNLV. Stefanie was a very independent spirit and lived every moment to the fullest. She was an avid water ski racer and won numerous medals and awards. She participated in Nationals and raced in the Catalina Ski Race. She loved the water, dune buggies, her family and friends. She was a frequent visitor to Parker, Ariz., where she enjoyed all types of water sports. Stefanie is survived by her parents, David and Susan Chandler; brother, Jason; and brother and sister-in-law, David and Sarah. Her grandparents, Stanley and Dolly Sobczak; and her grandmother, Lindi also survive her. She also leaves behind 18 aunts and uncles and 20 cousins, along with many, many friends. Visitation is scheduled for Monday, Feb. 7, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., followed by the funeral service at 2 p.m. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church Building Fund, 10075 S. Eastern Ave., Suite. 114, Henderson, NV 89052. This donation will allow for an angel to be constructed in Stefanie's name.

I can honestly say it took me a long time to get this far and look this up. I truely miss you everyday and to be honest I think about you daily. There is a part of you that never left me. And I'm eternally grateful for that. You will always be apart of my life and I wish so badly to have one of my greatest friends back. But I know your where your supposed to be doing what you do best. You are forever in my heart and you'll always have a huge peice of my heart. I love you dearly but miss you emensly.
