To every member of the Nielsen family,
Dr. Nielsen was my guidance counselor, confidant and mentor during my years at UNLV. He was a close friend of my fathers and was loved by every student that was lucky enough to spend time in one of his classes.
He is also the sole reason that I graduated from college. In my junior year, a bit overwhelmed with work and classes, I wanted to quit school. Because of Doc's guidance and support, I graduated ahead of schedule and have been blessed with a rewarding and successful career.
May he rest in peace and be remembered for all of his wonderful selfless endeavors.
With love and thanks
