SUZANNE RUSSO Obituary

SUZANNE RUSSO Suzanne "Sue" Russo, 61, of Las Vegas, passed away March 23, 2016. She was born July 31, 1954, in Toledo, Ohio, to Thomas and Mary Ann Robb (nee Oswald). She had the opportunity to live in many different areas as a child due to her father's career. She was homecoming queen and on the cheerleading squad in high school, who knew she could move so well! She attended Philadelphia College of Textiles and Sciences in Philadelphia, and received a bachelor of arts degree in textile management. Sue had lived in Las Vegas since 1995. She worked primarily in retail management and was last employed by T.J. Maxx. Sue took official retirement in 2011 due to health reasons. Family meant everything to Sue and they were always in her thoughts. Sue plain and simple was just a good person who never had a bad word to say about anybody. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her first husband, Vic Russo. She is survived by her husband, Al Weiss; sisters, Patti Robb and Cindy Derenne (David); brothers, Mike (Anna) and Gary (Sherie) Robb; her favorite and beloved niece, Jill; and other loved nieces and nephews, Beth, Jennifer, Stephanie, Brianna, Ethan and Casey. She will be missed by all of the people who had the honor to know her. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday March 28, at Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., Las Vegas. "Rest in peace."

To the Robb Family. Suzie was my very first friend in life. I even named my baby doll after her. I still have my "Suzie" and just recently gave her to my granddaughter. I am so sorry for your loss.

Mike, Patti, Cindy and Gary: I am so saddened to hear that Suzie has passed away. My entire childhood evolved around the Robb family until 1964 when your family moved away although I kept in touch with you, Patti, and even your parents until their passing. My deepest sympathies to all of you.

Sue,

You were the love of my life. You were the kindest most gentle person. I don't believe I knew the real beauty of love until you let me love you. Our years together were truly the best years of my life. My life will go on but will never be the same. My heart is broken.

Love,
Al

I am so proud to call you my friend. I remember meeting you at your work in the Fashion Show Mall in Las Vegas. I would come in to see you and later on we had lunch. You always had a great sense of proper clothing and you knew what to put with what. Deep red was a color I remember looking good on you and highlighting your dark, dark hair. I've saved the cards you've sent me (as well as a sweet, sweet jewelry box wedding gift) because you always said the kindest things. I will miss you greatly and will always remember your hand resting on mine when you said hello. Soar with the Angels.
