TERRENCE MOWBRAY Terrence Hammes "Terry" Mowbray, 57, passed away Dec. 8, 2015. He was born Dec. 12, 1957, in Henderson, and was a resident of Las Vegas employed in the automotive and finance industries. He was preceded in death by his father, former Supreme Court Chief Justice John Code Mowbray; and his brother, Romy Hammes Mowbray. He is survived by his sons, John Terrence "J.T." Mowbray of southern California and George "Geordie" Mowbray of Las Vegas; daughter, Angelica Kathlyn Mowbray of San Francisco; his mother, Kathlyn Hammes Mowbray of Las Vegas; and brothers, John H. Mowbray (Suzanne) of Las Vegas and Jerry H. Mowbray of Reno. Terry attended Bishop Gorman High School, where many of his lifelong friendships developed. After graduation from Bishop Gorman, Terry pursued his college education and graduated from the University of San Diego where his circle of friendships expanded. He was an avid student of history, a pastime he pursued with a passion. But, the real love of his life was J.T., Geordie and Angelica. He will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 14, in the Love Mausoleum Chapel at Davis Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15, at the Guardian Angel Cathedral, 302 Cathedral Way.
