THOMAS MANGIONE MANGIONE, Thomas 'Tom' C., age 69, of Las Vegas, passed away unexpectedly March 25, 2019 in Prescott, AZ. Tom was a longtime resident of Las Vegas, formerly of Rochester, NY. He was a very generous, giving person who loved his family and friends. He will be well known for his integrity, wit and sense of humor. Tom was a prominent community pioneer in the banking industry in Las Vegas since 1972 with First National Bank/First Interstate Bank/Wells Fargo Bank. More recently, Tom and several of his colleagues formed Nevada Community Bancorp Ltd. which was one of the first groups to open community banking in Nevada. He held positions of President, CEO, Chairman of the Board and Nevada Regional President and after a retirement from banking, a Vice President position with Coldwell Banker Premier Realty. He graduated in 1971 from John Carroll University with a BS in Business Administration, and later a 1985 graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School. Tom was Chairman of the Board of Southern Hills Hospital, Advisor to the Women's Development Center, Board member of College of Southern Nevada and was a member of the Las Vegas Invitational Founders Club, UNLV Football Foundation, UNLV Golf Foundation, and Tournament Players Club. Tom was preceded in death by his parents; sister; uncle and aunt. Tom is survived by his wife, Vicki; five children, Tom, Matt, Kelly, Ryan and Reed; 11 grandchildren; sisters; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A celebration of life (Papa's Party, his most favorite title) will be 1-3 p.m. Fri., April 26, at TPC Summerlin, 1700 Village Center Cir, Las Vegas, NV 89134, to rejoice in the memory of a life well lived and a man well loved!
