What a wonderful long life your loved one had, Psalm 90:10 says that the days of our years are 70 years, And if because of special mightiness they are 80 years. Special mightiness indeed. May the memories of the wonderful times you shared together bring a smile and joy in your heart.

Like everywhere Coach Reid lived, he made an unbelievable impact on the lives of the Newark Catholic High School Community in Newark, Ohio.
Former students, athletes, opponents, parents, and friends talk with respect about Coach Reid.
His passing is sad, but it was quite humbling to have him part of our lives.
Best wishes to his family. Lois was my favorite teacher in grade school.

Mr. Reid coached basketball and taught government classes with an energetic passion. He demanded the best of his students and athletes. He was always fair and honest with students. His teaching and motivational skills resulted in many students becoming very successful citizens. He was an excellent role model for young people. He was voted the Best Dressed Coach many times. You can see that in his picture. Our local community is still benefiting from his hard work many years ago. Thank you Mr. Reid.

We enjoyed many winters at Panama City Beach with Walter. He was a great card and Bingo player and a cutting observer of the daily billiard game. It was always fun
calling and speaking with him. He had a terrific sense of humor. We'll miss him.

Coach was a special man to me and a great friend of my mother and father. I was a football player playing basketball but coach taught me the finer points of shooting that I use today in teaching my players. I am sad to hear of his passing he was a wonderful friend to my family.
