There is so much to say about My Dad I love and miss him. there is so much my Dad did for me and my Children not because he had to just because he wanted to, just giving a helping hand and asked nothing in return except our happiness. he was always there for us as a Dad, a Granddad, a Listener, helper, and was our all around book of knowledge. I am so lost without him he was the Best in every ones lives.

I light a candle for you on this Memorial Day Dada. I love you so much and wish you were here to celebrate. You so wanted out of the hospital so you could celebrate today. Wanted to know what The plans were! Well, you got your wish but not in the way you were hoping for. You are beyond our world now and hopefully joining us at the picnic you so loved in spirit.

My heart aches for Cris, her gramma, and family right now. Her granddad was the most kindhearted and loving person you could ever meet.. I would have traded places with him in a heartbeat so they didn't have to go through this pain. He will be sadly missed, but NEVER forgotten. Rest In Peace now.

In his younger days, Bud drove down from Michigan to Bridgeport, OH almost every other weekend to hang out with my brother Jim and I. His grandmother lived up the street. This is where he met his wife Loretta who lived in Martisn Ferry, two miles up the road.
Bud and I were always close and he was a great friend. I will miss him much.

You are the best grandad a girl could ever ask for :'( No matter what it was we needed you were always there for us. Whenever I needed you to take me to a Dr's appt you were always there and when I was in the hospital having my back surgeries you were there. I'm so grateful for that. You were one of a kind Grandad, they broke the mold when they made you. Grandma was very lucky to have you. You took very good care of her all these years and never once did you complain. I never thought the day would come that we would have to say our goodbyes to you :'( I wish there was something I could have done to make you better. I wish I would've been able to spend more days with you before you passed away. I know you understand why I wasn't able to but it's killing me inside that I couldn't. I'm going to miss playing hand & foot with you, but I know when we play you will be right there with us. You don't have to worry about Grandma we will take good care of her Grandad. I miss you so much this still doesn't seem real. It's really going to be hard for me on our b-day grandad. Even though your not going to be here in person I know you will be there with me when that day comes :) <3 Rest In Paradise Grandad I LOVE and MISS you so much xoxoxo <3

I honestly can't imagine a better grandad, you never missed not one of my surgeries and god knows I had a ton but it never bothered you a bit you would camp if ther was available camping or stay in a hotel I was never an inconvenience to you and you were never one to me when it became my turn to care for you, it was an honor to stay here with you and listen to your life story , you lived an amazing life and sadness me that people will never get to hear all the great things you got to do, grandma was so lucky to have you you spoiled her just like you did us, you have big shoes to fill grandad but I promise with everything I am to try and fill those for grandma because she deserves the best she was the only person you loved more then your kids and grandkids, I love you and will miss you forever and I hope when you arrived at the gates you got a heart of steel because you deserve it thanks for never letting me fall and when i did you picked me up your seriously one of the best people i have ever known I love you xoxoxox

Great Uncle Bud, will sadly be missed by us down here in Ohio. I loved when Uncle Bud and Aunt Loretta would come to visit us. They always made time to come to our house and I'd make dinner for them on their trip to Ohio, and then when we came to visit them in Michigan he would make us wonderful dinners. He was always right beside Aunt Loretta to help her in anyway he could. To see the love that he had for Aunt Loretta was so wonderful. It brakes my heart to know how much she will miss him, but I know he is still looking over her up in heaven making sure she is safe and well taken care of. ❤ love and prayers to you Aunt Loretta and the rest of the family. Great Uncle Bud we will never forget you and will treasure all the times we had together with the family, may God take you by the hand now and reunite you with your very much missed and loved daughter Dora and others up in heaven

Dada, I wish you did not have to go. I know you are at peace now but I will miss calling you, miss those twinkling blue eyes and your funny little sayings. You were the rock that the whole family clung to. I will never forget how you used to love camping, hunting and fishing. How you did not let the fact you had 4 daughters and no sons hold you back from including us in the things you loved. I remember how you would take us fishing but spent most of your time baiting our lines, how you took us hunting a few times and when you took Dora and I out with you and you actually bagged a deer despite our chatter, all I wanted to do was pet it and you sent us to hide behind a tree so you could take care of that deer because we had burst out crying because Bambi was shot. Can you just picture a father trying to take care of his catch and two little girls (maybe 8) crying. He had the patience of a saint! In your later years when you moved up north you went from hunting to feeding all the animals around your house. You even had the turkeys waiting in the woods for you and running down the hill at you as you filled up the bird feeders. I remember the picture of you with little chickadees landing on your hand to eat right out of it, the raccoons, possoms and even a skunk or two showed up to eat the bread you would buy especially for the animals in winter. They were never afraid of you!
