1924 - 2023

March 24, 2023 age 98. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy. Loving father of Karen Madden, Lawrence (Pamela) Wojnowski, David Wojnowski, Jacqueline (Donald) Chace, and the late Bernard Wojnowski. Proud grandpa of 13 grandchildren, 15 great grand children and 3 great great grandchildren. Dear brother of the late Delphine (Edward) Schultz, and Geraldine (Melvin) Miller. Dear uncle to many nieces and nephwes. Sir Bernard Wojnowski was knighted into the French Legion of Honor for meritorious service in France during WWII. A proud WWII US Army Veteran, Purple Heart recipient, and lifelong member of the VFW and Macomb County Ritual Team. Visitation Friday 2-8 PM at the Wasik Funeral Home, Inc. 49150 Schoenherr Rd. (n. of 22 Mile Rd.), Shelby Twp. Instate Saturday 8:30 am until 9:00 am Funeral Mass at St. Mary Mystical Rose Catholic Church 24040 Armada Ridge Road (e. of North Ave), Armada. Interment at Resurrection cemetery following the Funeral Mass. Memorial contributions in Bernard's memory may be directed to the Macomb County Ritual Team, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to the Capuchins.
