My deepest condolences to Lori and her entire family during this difficult time. I consider it a great pleasure to have had the opportunity to get to know Carl. Maybe it was because a retired cop and retired Army officer (me) could naturally relate to each other. I always looked forward to seeing him. Whenever I get to enjoy Polish cooking, I will recall our trips to the Polish Village Café in Hamtramck. Thank you Carl, for the memories and your friendship...rest in peace!
