Charles M. Haddad

1933 - 2022

HADDAD, Charles Matthew passed away on January 12, 2022 at the age of 88. His death is a profound loss to all who love him. Charles was born on September 28, 1933 in Detroit, MI, to George and Marie Haddad. He was the second of four children. After graduating Southeastern High School, he earned his bachelor's degree from Hillsdale College and his law degree from the Detroit College of Law. Charles followed his father into the practice of law and was later joined by his son where he continued to go to his office dailly until his illness sidelined him just weeks before his death.

Chuck was passionate about his law practice but also enjoyed his summer days at the Emerald City Marina tending his favorite cabin cruiser, the Fugitive II.

Charles was no stranger to the loss of loved ones. He is predeceased in death by his older brother George, Jr., his parents George and Marie; his wife of 63 years, Mary Ann; and more recently his sisters, Joyce and Marlene. He kept memories of his departed loved ones close to his heart and shared stories of them often.

Chuck is survived by his five children Mark, Susan, Alan, Deborah (John) Culver and Pamela (David Reemmer); his grandchildren Joshua, Matthew, Adam and Dylan. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
