So many memories...the early days in L & D at MCGH before LDRPs...your sheer joy & delight when Christopher joined big sister, Karri...then, the miracle of Michael...your incredible talents & artistry in crafting & needlework...but mostly, your warm friendliness, big heart, & a smile that lit up the room. Rest peacefully now, Maryann, safely home.

I worked with Maryann for many years in nursing, starting in the Nursery and then Labor and Delivery at Mt. Clemens. She helped me get a job at the law offices at Kitch. I admired her intelligence, appreciated her knowledge, envied her compassion and enjoyed her never ending humor. She was an excellent nurse and impacted the lives of many families with her touch and teaching as they labored, gave birth and learned to care for their babies. She will be missed by so many. God bless her family as they deal with this difficult loss.

Ken, Karri, Chris and Mike: May you find peace and comfort in knowing that Maryann is no longer in pain and is in Heaven now with all the Angels and Saints with our Lord and Savior now and forever more. One day you will be together again. Until then may God comfort you and bless you abundantly. To my dear "family", the Trombleys. I am sorry that Maryann is no longer with us. She was a good friend, a great OB nurse and a wonderful wife to you, Ken; wonderful mother to Kari, Chris and Mike; and dearest sister to Bud. There is one less light shinin in the world today, but my sorrow is not total. I am glad that she is in God's arms, calm, happy, in no pain and whole. On Tuesday, (the day after her birthday), I bent down to kiss her and spoke in her ear--"It is alright to go to God" and that "I loved her very much". In her pain and misery, she was able to mumble out that she loved me. That is all I need to sustain me for the rest of my life.

Maryann was a wonderful nurse and a great co-worker. I will always remember the conversations so many of we nurses shared about our children, husbands, and busy lives. I will also remember the great love she had for people and all those whose lives she touched. Maryann will be truly missed by so many. Ken and Family...My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. I'm so honored to have had the pleasure of meeting and working with Maryann. We met at our hospital orientation at St. John and hit it off immediately. She always had a smile on her face and her sharp wit often kept us laughing when we needed it the most. Maryann always spoke so highly of her children and truly loved being a grandma. And her face still lit up when she spoke of Ken.

She certainly chose the right profession, and I know she touched many lives with her caring, loving touch and giving personality. Maryann was an inspiration to many, and she will be truly missed. There's a new shining star in heaven.

Our deepest condolences. Our Mustang days seem like they were just yesterday sitting out there on the field in the heat of summer practice to the chilly days of football season. No matter the weather Maryann always had a smile on her face. Our lives were truly blessed the moment we met Maryann. May you find comfort in your memories and knowing she is now in heaven watching over all of us.
