William R. Critchley

1937 - 2015

Critchley, William R. “Bill”, age 77, of Sterling Heights, Michigan, formerly of Berkley, Michigan passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at home with his loving family at his side. Mr. Critchley was born in Berkley, Michigan on November 3, 1937. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy and National Guard. Surviving is his loving wife Sandra “”Sandy” for 57 years; children, Leslie (Teresa) Critchley, William Critchley, and Todd (Carrie Ann) Critchley; grandchildren, Candace Critchley, Brooke (Jake) Skolas, William and Corey Critchley; and a great-granddaughter Kennedy Harper Skolas; siblings, Charles Critchley, Lynn (Nicholas) Karl, and Susan Kaye McDonald. A special thanks to Candice Critchley for being at her grandfather’s side. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters, Beverly Finley and Charlene Demick. Visitation at the Sawyer-Fuller Funeral Home, 2125 Twelve Mile Road in Berkley, (two blocks west of Woodward Avenue) Sunday, May 3rd from 3-8 p.m. Funeral 11 a.m. Monday, May 4th at the funeral home.
