It is with sorrow that I learned today of Mr. Layson's passing. I enjoyed seeing him every Sunday when I visited with my Grandmother in Springfield. He was a kind and caring man. He always stopped to talk and ask how our day was going. I have missed seeing him and asked about him today. I will miss his smile and laughter. Such a gentleman.

Ms. Sylvia and Family,
I am praying for you and trusting the Lord to give you that "measure of grace" during this bitter/sweet time. May you rest in knowing your sweet dad is with the Lord according to 2 Cor. 5:8

Another angel/soldier has gone to his Heavenly home. A very sweet loving man. Remembering his smile, jokes and his compassion for people. he seemed to always have time to help out anyone in need. A great Christian man will be missed. Praying for God's strength and comfort for the family. God Bless.

The first time I met Al, he was driving a van with Laysons Mobile Home repair on the side of it. I followed him home and introduced myself. It was then that I found out we were related. He told me to go ask my Dad about "Preacher Man". My Dad knew exactly who I was talking about. "Preacher Man" Al, you will be missed.

Sharing and caring are my fondest memories of Al Layson. Even during his trials, he smiled and took time to lift me up. His mansion has to be fabulous!

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this most difficult time. Knowing that Mr. Layson is now walking on streets of gold and seeing our Saviors face is a great source of comfort. Waiting for the day when we all will be reunited again in Glory.
