Eddie,Kiki,&Chas,

Anna was such an inspiration to so many people. She was very involved with her school work and her extracricualr activities. She never had to try to make people happy or to make them smile. It was such an honor for me to have known and be friends with Anna. I am so sorry for the pain that you are going through now but ya'll know as well as anybody that she is safe and in a better place. I just wanted to let ya'll know how much she ment to me and how strong I think ya'll are. I admire your family's faith and I just know Anna is proud of ya'll. I loved her dearly and will miss her greatly.

In the short time the she knew her, Ashley had grown very close to Anna. She and all the cheerleaders are devastated. Ashley has never dealt with the loss of a friend. The only thing I knew to tell her was the as long as she keeps the memory of Anna within, her spirit will stay alive. Ashley told me she knew Anna was saved. For those who wish to see her again, there is a way, and He is the way, the truth, and the life. You are in our prayers. Ken, Angela, Kent, Ashley DeLay

Eddie, Kiki, and family: Anna was a beautiful young woman inside and out. I have such happy memories of her playing rec ball with Jada—her nickname, Anna banana. She always had this little smile when the girls called her that. She was the only girl on the team that never complained. It was an honor and privilege to have known her. May God be with your family and all of us.

November 30, 2003

I would like to send my condolences to the entire Conway and Johnston family. Only God has the answers to your questions. Trust that God is with you and your loved ones. Anna will be remembered by all: as that sweet and friendly person she was. Remember: she is only taking a nap, rest assured she is good hands. With love....

Anna,

This is one of your many teachers whose lives you touched.Like many family and friends in Jenkins County, I feel so sad to know it was your time to go to Heaven. You were always such a sweet, smart student, and you tried your best in every endeavor that was set before you. I know your parents, brothers, sister, and all other family members are all proud to have had such a short time to spend with you and feel that they are better people in having the privilege to have known you. I haven't spoken with any of your friends, but I know they are devastated, just as your family is to know you have gone. I want your parents to know that you were one of the best students that I have ever taught. You were an example for all other students to follow. It's so hard to understand why God felt that He needed you more than we did, but He always knows best. I know you must have one of the top angel jobs performing to your upmost ability as you always did on Earth. We all look forward to the day when we can see your pretty smile and feel your beautiful personality again.

Mrs. Lyn Rhodes
