Annie Harrison Obituary
Macon, GA- Annie Ruth Harper Harrison, 97, passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at a local nursing home. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 18 at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fr. Vernon Knight officiating. Graveside service will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Rose Hill. Rosary will be held on Monday, April 17 at 6 PM at Snow's Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 830 Poplar Street, 31201 or Heartland Hospice, 3312 Northside Drive, Suite D250, 31210.
Ruth was born in Apalachee, Georgia to the late William Henry and Bannie Bacon Harper. She was preceded in death by her husband, Timothy Enright Harrison and her son, Michael "Mick" Harrison. Ruth was a graduate of Perry High School. She worked at Southern Chemical Products Company for 27 years before working for Bryan Transfer Company. Ruth was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church where she was active for many years.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Barbara H. Bullard of Jacksonville, FL, Tim Harrison of Lexington, SC, John "RD" Harrison of Jacksonville, FL, Joe Harrison of Macon, Tom (Penny) Harrison of Forsyth, GA, seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren.

It seems that I've known your mother all of my life. My mother, Rita Cain, loved your mother so much. She was a gracious lady, She gave me her recipe for an Orange Salad which I still have. I know you will miss her in your lives.

My mother-in-law, Avalee Tidwell and Ruth were dear friends. They worked together at Southern Chemical for many years. Ruth was such a kind and caring person and loved by so many people.
