McDonough, GA- April Collins, 45, gained her wings on Thursday, June 7, 2018. She was an educator at Luella Middle School in Henry County. April was a faithful member and choir director at Beulahland Bible Church. She was known for her musical talents, writing songs that blessed many throughout the Middle Georgia area. She is survived by her husband Terrick Collins; her children, JiaLi Houston, Janyiah Johnson, Terrick Collins III, Ashanti Collins and Terani Collins; her sisters, Melanie Johnson, Nedra Johnson, Mia Hill, Lydia Hall and Chyrl Johnson; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends that will miss her dearly. Funeral services to honor her life will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 11:00am at Beulahland Bible Church 1010 Newberg Ave Macon, GA. The family is accepting visitors between 3-9 PM at 1133 Sherbrooke Dr Macon, Ga 31204. Services entrusted to Bentley & Sons Funeral Home, Macon.
