Barkwell T. Bollinger -COCHRAN - Funeral services for Mr. Barkwell T. Bollinger, 89, of Cochran who died Sunday, January 30, 2005 at his residence will be held at 2P.M. Tuesday, February 1, 2005 in the Chapel of Fisher Funeral Home with Rev. Ted Tedder and Rev. Darell Young officiating. Burial will be in Pulaski-Bleckley Memorial Gardens. -Mr. Bollinger was born in Bleckley County, the son of the late William R. and Matilda Hearn Bollinger. He was the widower of Elizabeth Meadows Bollinger. He was a member and Deacon Emeritus of Ruth Baptist Church. He was retired from J.M. Huber Corp., was a farmer and member of Bleckley County Farm Bureau. He was preceded in death by a son, Terry Bollinger. -Survivors include his children, John B. and Bonnie Bollinger and James D. and Janie Bollinger, all of Cochran; sister, Mary Ballard of Cochran; sister-in-law, Audrey (Henry) Abrams of Perry; brother-in-law, Wendell (Jeanie) Meadows of Hawkinsville; special friend, Christine Bumpus of Cochran; nine grandchildren, Johnny Bollinger, Alisa Bollinger, Heather Bollinger, Amy B. Gurr, Erin Bollinger and Jamie Bollinger, all of Cochran, Celeste B. Price of Acworth, Leigh B. Faust of Albany and Angie Bollinger of Hawkinsville; seven great grandchildren. -The family may be contacted at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. John B. Bollinger, Hudson Jones Road and will meet friends at Fisher Funeral Home from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. Monday night. -Fisher Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
