With sadness I am learning of the death of Mr. B. J. Sullivan. We came to be very good friends when we worked in the Avionics Maintenance Department on Robins Air Force Base. Since he retired several years before me, I had not had the opportunity to see him in many years. The last time I saw him was when he was featured on a local tv program where they talked about his long life. That was a few years ago. I´ve been thinking about him ever since, wishing I could have visited with him to talk about old times. Family, may God abide with you during this time of bereavement. Rest In Heavenly Peace, BJ.

Ava, Butch, Kathy, Phil and Tony . . . . I was notified of your dad's eternal journey on Sunday 7/14/24.
Having grown up in the Pleasant Hill community - especially around Penn, Mutual Avenue, Neal Avenue, Roosevelt Avenue, Ruby Street - all grownups helped raise the children in the community/village. Mr. BJ was one of them. Not only were we taught right from wrong, but ethics/honesty and how to respect others, especially grownups.
Pleasant Hill has lost one of the most respectable, honorable persons and historians it has ever had. His love for people and devotion to Pleasant Hill will always be remembered.
Please know there are many of us who share your loss. (Babs)
