Mrs. MacMillan was a very special lady. I had the privilege of being her aide in her kindergarten class for a couple of years, and I enjoyed getting to know her. I am sending my most sincere condolences to the MacMillan family.

Carla, Cindy, and Herb: I am so sorry for the loss of your mother. I remember my first day of Kindergarten. I walked in frightened, and your mom took my hand, worked her magic, and I loved school from that point forward. Both of your parents played such a meaningful role in my life and the lives of so many students at Monroe Academy. Thank you for sharing these two wonderful people with us. We are all blessed to have known them. I wish you much peace during this time of loss.

George and Betty were two of the finest folks I was privileged to know during my years as a school administrator. I regret to hear this sad news about "Mrs. Mac."

As a student at Monroe Academy, Ms. MacMillan invited me into her home on many occasions when my mother would be running late. I remember the ice cream she would give me and helping me with my homework while waiting on my mother. She was a wonderful woman who will be greatly missed.
