To Marcella, Whitney, Victoria, Dad (James Little), Mrs. Geri, Barbara, Dennis, The Paige family and the Little/Dennis families, neighbors and friends,

Cedric held, and still holds, a very special place in my heart as my youngest brother. I loved him dearly. He was full of smiles, expressive talk, philosophy, and debate. He seemed to be able to debate any life issue from any side. I would often tell him that he missed his calling. He loved to dress and I remember him in bright colors, much like his personality. Cooking and grilling was his passion and he had very descript terms for each of his meals. He first introduced me to Cornish Hens at Thanksgiving. He bragged on his special shish kabobs grilled perfectly every time. He had a cuisine all of his own. Ribs, chicken, beef, pork, ...you-name-it!

As everyone reading this probably knows, Cedric's childhood nicknames were "Sponge" , "Spongelic", and "Big Boy". As he grew into adulthood, he became known as simply "Ced".

You knew you were talking to Ced when you heard such phrases as "Who in the ham sandwich..." or "Peace and Hair Grease". He had a language that was unique to him.

As I remember Ced, he had a love for music. Boy, did he listen to it loudly! He had a real appreciation for 70's soul music. We had so much fun at his house listening to music and reminiscing about days gone by "back in the day". He used to wear a BIG sonic boom Afro back then...Ya'll remember...Back in the 70s.

Ced could sell ANYTHING. He sold cars, jewelry, appliances, signs, WHATEVER. To those of you who are reading this, he probably tried to sell you something.

He married the love of his life, Marcella and they had two beautiful daughters...Whitney, that's you and Victoria. He loved you all so much and spoke of you frequently. Through all the challenges in his life, when talking with me, he always revealed a deep love of you, Marcella, his wife and an unconditional love of his children, Whitney and Victoria.

So, as I pause to think fondly of my baby brother, Cedric, I am grateful to all of you who have sent your condolences, well wishes, prayers and support. You've made this much easier to bear.

To all family members, I'm still praying for continued strength of us all as we seek God's peace that surpasses all understand-
ing. Love you all!
