Charles Emmett Adams, Sr. -SANDERSVILLE - Mr. Charles Emmett Adams, Sr., age 77, of 4232 Highway 24 East in Sandersville died Monday February 25 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday February 29 in the United Faith Ministries Church near Davisboro. -Survivors are his wife, Edna Berrie Adams of Sandersville, a daughter, Sandra Adams Avant of Sandersville, two sons, Chuck (Debra) Adams and Douglas L. (Cheryl) Adams both of Sandersville, nine grandchildren, Rachel Avant Durden, Jennifer Avant, Ben Avant, Charles Emmett Adams III, Jessica Adams, Leslie Adams, John Adams, Douglas Adams, Jr., and Aaron M. Adams, three great grandchildren, Hannah Rae Durden, John William Durden and Brannan Ray Avant, brother and sisters, Tom Adams of Jacksonville, LaCora Adams Douglas and Janice Adams Musgrove of Macon, Bonny Adams of Fayetteville, Benny Adams of Milledgeville and Charlie Owen Adams, Jr. of Sandersville. -The family request that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the United Faith Ministries 14253 Hwy 231, Davisboro GA 31018. -The family will receive friends at May and Smith Funeral Home from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Thursday evening. -May and Smith Funeral Directors in Sandersville is in charge of the arrangements.
