I had the great honor of working with Mr. Jones for several years and remember with great fondness the brilliance of his mind and depth of his character. He loved middle Georgia and was proud of the community he called home. His presence shall be missed by many but his impact will not be forgotten.

I'm sorry to hear of the passing of your father. When I think of him, I recall when he would tell a joke, this big infectious smile would light up his whole face, that is the Charlie Jones I will remember.
After having experienced a similar loss, I hope that you too will find comfort in knowing that he is no longer in any pain and the special memories you have of him will help to bring you comfort now and always.

I knew Mr. Charlie through my employer, Buck Melton. He was a delightful man, always cheerful with kind words for everyone. So few knew of his generosity because he didn't broadcast it. He was a fine gentleman. My sympathies to his family.
