Charlotte McMullan Obituary
July 7, 1942 - February 11, 2025
Macon, Georgia - Charlotte Grady McMullan died February 11, 2025, at home surrounded by her family. Born in Hartford, CT, Charlotte and her six siblings were reared in Cleveland, OH where Charlotte excelled in parochial school. She moved south about 57 years ago, returned to school and ultimately became the first female Certified Public Accountant in Macon. She and her late husband, V. Fain McMullan were partners in their accounting firm, McMullan & McMullan on Georgia Avenue. Charlotte is survived by her daughters, Karen McMullan and Maureen Howard (Frank); her grandchildren, Audrey Elizabeth Fain Howard and Aaron Earl Howard; by Fain's daughter, Cathy Umstead (Alan); her sisters, Edwina Grady and Laura Grady; and brothers, Quentin Grady, Patrick Grady and Marty Grady. In addition to her husband, Charlotte was predeceased by her brother, John Grady. A celebration of Charlotte's life will be held on March 4th, 2025, at Hart's at the Cupola at 4:00 pm.
