Juliette, GA- Christopher Michael Kelsay, 39, entered into rest on Wednesday, October 24, 2012.
Chris was born on October 18, 1973 in Warner Robins, Georgia. He grew up attending Sacred Heart Catholic School and graduated from Mount De Sales Academy. Chris went on to graduate from Mercer University in 1998 with an Electrical Engineering degree. A well-accomplished Electrical Engineer employed by Engineering Associates, Inc., he was CCNP, JNCIA, MCSE, MCSA, RCDD, and Cisco certified. He also was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. In his spare time, he enjoyed doing projects and playing games with his loving son, Sam, as well as helping friends with electronics and computers.
His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife, Gina Kelsay of Juliette; son, Samuel Elijah Kelsay of Juliette; parents, Lt. Col. William F. Kelsay, USAFR (Ret) and Diana von Werssowetz Kelsay of Byron; father-in-law and mother-in-law, William H. and Annie Maine of Warner Robins; siblings, William F. Kelsay II of Warner Robins, Angela C. Kelsay of Murray, Kentucky, and Margaret E. Kelsay of Victorville, California; uncle, Dr. Arthur von Werssowetz (Dena) of Chattanooga, Tennessee; aunt, Maggie Johnson of Chattanooga, Tennessee; and a number of cousins.
A Rosary will be held on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. with visitation following until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with a Committal Service following in Magnolia Park Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, the family asks memorial donations be given to St. Joseph Catholic Church Building Fund, 830 Poplar Street, Macon, GA 31201.
