Clint W. Puckett -MACON - Clint W. Puckett, 64, of Highway 87 in Macon, passed away Sunday, November 9, 2003, in a local hospital. The family will greet friends from 6:00 until 8:00P.M., Tuesday at Bridges Funeral Home in Gray. Funeral services will be held at 11A.M., Wednesday, November 12, 2003, in the Chapel of Bridges Funeral Home, with interment in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens in Macon. Rev. Joey Hamrick will officiate. -Mr. Puckett, a loving father and devoted husband, was born in Munfordsville, Kentucky, and had lived in Macon for the past twenty-five years, having previously lived in Louisville, Kentucky. He was the son of the late Clayburn Puckett and Mandy Barnes Puckett. Mr. Puckett was a veteran of the United States Army and was a retired fabrication technician with Brown and Williamson Tobacco Corp. He was a member of the Pleasure Ridge Park Masonic Lodge #959, the Forsyth Golf Club and was a Baptist. Mr. Puckett was preceded in death by his brothers Roy Gene Puckett and Bully Puckett. -Mr. Puckett is survived by his wife: Louise Puckett of Macon; his children: Robert Layman of Alachua, Florida, Rita Swartz and Jackie Hubbard, both of Macon; brothers and sisters: Robert Lee Puckett of Sonora, Kentucky, Pete Puckett of Munfordville, Kentucky, Margaret Dorsey of Louisville, Kentucky, Sue Spradlin of Horse Cave, Kentucky and Edna Holly of Park City, Kentucky; as well as several grandchildren. -In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, Post Office Box 4406, Macon, Georgia 31208. -The family may be contacted at the residence at 6707 Highway 87 in Macon. -Bridges Funeral Home in Gray has charge of arrangements.
