Dan Brett Obituary

Dan Brett

November 6, 1967 - April 4, 2025

Warner Robins, Georgia - Mr. Dan O. Brett, 57, of Warner Robins, GA, passed away peacefully while holding his wife's hand.

He was born and raised in Sandersville, GA. The youngest child of Mr. Otis Roundtree Brett and Mrs. Mary Francis Brett (Barfield), he is preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Anne Segars (Brett); and his two brothers, Otis Brett and Randy Brett.

Dan loved rock-n-roll music with KISS being his all-time favorite. He was a fan of the classic Justice League and he could talk for hours about farm equipment and farming. Whenever he was satisfied with a job done right, his catch phrase was, "it's jam up and jelly tight."

He spent many years working at Lapp and then at Howard Sheppard, making countless friends along the way. Dan had an easy manner about himself, endearing him to many.

He leaves behind his wife, Jo Anna (Amos) Brett, of almost nine years; his niece, Jennifer (Brett) Thigpen; nephews, Jonathan Thigpen and Jason (Holly) Brett; niece Carly Lewis; nephew Luke Lewis, and three beautiful grand-nieces, Makayla, Allie, and Shanna Grace Thigpen.

Per Dan's wishes, there will be no services.

He will be missed.
