Danny loved my little dog Lola....he called her Miss Wiggle butt. She had surgery yesterday and as I was walking back through the breezeway I caught myself thinking how concerned Danny would be. He was a dear friend to myself and my family, as was Gretchen. They are often in my thoughts and will remain there!!

It was such a pleasure knowing you and Gretchen. It's heartbreaking to know you were suffering again. I pray that you're in peace after all you've been through.

Oh I loved this man and his family! His later life was full of pain but he was always steadfast in his love of The Lord and his family.

I am so sad to hear of the passing of Danny. We dated awhile in College at VSC, and he was always such a gentleman. He and my husband worked briefly together at Mercer University as well. Please know that the family is in our thoughts and prayers. We know that we will see him again on Glory Day.

Danny was my Dad´s best friend, my dad passed away in 2018 and Danny did a great job planning his funeral since my Mom couldn´t. May he rest in peace, now with my Dad and Pistol Pete in heaven .

Danny and Gretchen lived directly across from us in our apartment building. They were two of the nicest people we have ever met. They always had a smile on their face and they always stopped to chat. My dog loved Danny and would wiggle all over when she saw him. He called her Ms. Wiggle Butt. She looks for him on his porch every day. He and Gretchen will be greatly missed as we have lost two dear friends. I never knew he was in so much pain bc he didn't let on. As much as my heart breaks losing them, I take comfort in knowing he has a brand knew body and they can live a new and wonderful life. We loved them dearly and will miss them everyday. The Ethridges
