Lizella, Georgia - Life's Celebratory Services for Darrell Howard are 12:00P.M., Saturday, November 6, 2021 at the Macon City Auditorium with interment at Macon Memorial Park, Macon, GA.
Social distancing protocol and masks are required.

Although I didn´t know Banana as well as I knew his beloved wife Barrie, I considered him a friend because he was friends with my husband. It seemed like yesterday that I called him for advice because he was tops in knowledge of vehicles and finance. I didn´t remember the day he passed but I understood grief. He really loved his family and I will always cherish his stories when he would talk about them. To Barrie and family, God had a day that he would take this soldier on and we shall see him again!!!

Our hearts were just broken when we saw Darrel had passed away.
We live in Baxley, GA. On one of our trips to Douglasville, GA several years ago to see my Mother, we stopped by Riverside just to see the new Fords. Darrel waled out to greet us with that larger than life smile of his. God bless him, he was a gift to all that meet him.
We bought a car from him that day. Two years latter My Mother came down from Douglasville, and she bought a new car from Darrel.
We saw Darrel one last time not long after he returned to Riverside Ford after being in the hospital. We worried about his health then.
Darrel was indeed one those wonderfully warm people you never will forget.

Sorry to hear about the death of Mr. Howard. We bought several vehicles from him through the years. Latest was in May of this year. Talked to him about two weeks ago on the phone. He was our salesman & friend. Such a great caring person. Always willing to assist others. Prayers for his family. RIP Darrell. We will miss you.

Sincere condolence for the Howard family. Darrell has contribute so much to the auto industry in middle Ga. I first met Darrell early on at Grant Motors where he mentor me in the car business. That was 36 years ago where i am still in the auto industry.God Bless you all.

I want to give my condolences to Darrell´s family. He was a good friend of mine at Riverside Ford. I knew him for almost 3 years and he was full jokes. He always invited me to eat with him at lunch and that made us close. When I found out what happened i was stunned the whole day. I wish I had one more chance to talk to him. It was a pleasure to have met & done business with this fine man. Initially bought a car from him in Byron at Brannen Ford years ago. He was very personable & purpose driven to customer first & foremost, plus his ethics. I learned he was a servant to his family & I'm quite sure, friends also. He was one of the few in this world that you just couldn't help but like him. I will think of Darrell, as I have in the past, everytime I consider the purchase of a vehicle & sometimes in between. Thank you, Darrel, for your kind & contageous joy & friendly personality. I'm grateful to have known you. May God bless the family with all the wonderful memories he has left for you. I pray it will bring healing to your soul.
