I was devastated to learn on her b'day that Deborah passed away. I met her in 1973 when I was attending Mercer and she reached out to me. We became good friends and were even in each other's weddings. Our children were also close in age. I new Jonathan and Jennifer when they were young. I still have some of the gifts Deborah gave me. I last saw her 2002, when she drove over to the tennis courts to see me while my son played in a tournament. I always remembered today is her b'day and I always intended to to call. While looking for her number to call and greet her, I saw that she had passed away.I am so very sad. My prayers are with you and I will never forget my sweet friend.

Deborah was my neighbor and she was a shining example of love and kindness. I feel blessed to have known her and am thankful for the example she set for my children to see what it means to be a great neighbor. We will all miss her dearly!

I am very sorry for the passing of Deborah. We worked together at the Procter & Gamble plant in Macon many many years ago. She was so cute, her hair bouncing as she walked through the plant, very little makeup and neat as a pin. She was energetic, very conscientious and a hard worker. I know she loved her family deeply and had an abiding faith. I am so saddened and will be praying for you during this time of sorrow.

To the family of Deborah Combs:

Mrs. Combs and I worked closely together at Miller Middle School. Her work ethic exceeded expectations. What stands out most is her organization and integrity. She did not mind speaking the truth. She will be missed at Miller and in my heart. I appreciate crossing paths with her for I was able to learn how to overcome tough situtations with a smile. She was a true soldier!

Deborah Combs, a true soldier, will be missed greatly by the Miller Magnet Middle School family. Her work ethic is matchless. Diligent, meticulous, and precise are a few words that describe her gift. She will always hold a special place in my memory for the genuine love that she has shown; her untireless efforts; and her unending service.

To The Family:
Deborah couldn't say enough about how much she loved you and enjoyed spending time with you. It truly saddens me that Tristan and Mackenzie will miss the true joy she was before cancer. She survived cancer the first time and it overtook her the second, but she will always be a survivor in my eyes. I will miss her dearly.

I had the privilege of working with Mrs. Combs at Miller. She was always so kind and helpful to anyone who needed it. Though she is in a better place today and pain free, she will be sorely missed by those of us here whose lives she touched. My prayers are with the family..
