Emma Mae Prosser Golden -MILLEDGEVILLE - Emma Mae Prosser Golden, 84, died Thursday, February 23, 2006. Services will be 2P.M. Sunday at First Christian Church with Rev. John Dubose and Rev. Bob Walk officiating. Burial will follow in Baldwin Memorial Gardens. -Mrs. Golden was a native of Washington County and grew up in Putnam County graduating from Rockville Grammar School and Eatonton High School before moving to Milledgeville. She was the daughter of the late Junnie Rogers and Ora Mae Cox Prosser. She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-two years Miles Vince Golden. She was a retired Micro Biologist with Central State Hospital. She was a member of First Christian Church, Eastern Star, and a life member of the American Medical Technologist Association. She served as a den mother for the Cub Scouts, and was an avid gardener. -Survivors include three sons, Myles Roger Golden (Ann) of Greenville, SC, James Winbon Golden (Judy) of Perry, and Junnie Prosser Golden (Lynne) of Wilmington, NC; a sister Juanita Ivey of Milledgeville; grandchildren, Clark A. Golden (Andreia) of Mauldin, SC, Gregory A. Golden (Loren) of Cherry Hill, NJ, Vince E. Golden (Peggy), Johanna Golden Goff (Ben) all of Perry; a great granddaughter, Jessica Lynn Golden of Cherry Hill, NJ. -In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to First Christian Church, 555 N. Columbia Street, Milledgeville, 31061. -The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. at First Christian Church. -Moores Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
