Lt. Col. Floyd Ralph Dooley, USAF (Ret.) -PERRY - Lt. Col. F. Ralph Dooley, USAF (Ret.), 74, passed away Thursday, December 4, 2008. -Mr. Dooley was born on July 2, 1934, in Danville, Virginia. With pride and honor, he served his country in the United States Air Force for twenty years as a pilot and was a veteran of the Vietnam War and the Cuban Missile Crisis. After retirement, he was the sole proprietor of Dooley Heating and Air Conditioning in Warner Robins. He was a faithful member of Friendship Baptist Church, actively serving in the Men's Ministry and as a Sound Technician. He loved to fish with friends and his grandchildren. He was dearly loved by his family, friends and all who knew him. His parents, Elwood and Lena Dooley, preceded him in death. -His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of fifty-two years, Margaret Dooley; sisters, Gloria Dooley and Nancy (Earl) Guill, Danville, Virginia; sons, Phil (Kim) Dooley, Warner Robins, Alan (Cathy) Dooley, Centerville, and Glenn (Kay) Dooley, Palm Harbor, Florida; eleven grandchildren and one great grandson. -Visitation will be Sunday, December 7, 2008, from 4:00 until 6:00 P.M. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon on Monday, December 8, 2008 at Friendship Baptist Church, Pastor Paul Cowles, Pastor Tim Millwood and Nathan Dooley officiating. Interment will follow in the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Friendship Baptist Church Building Fund, 1322 Feagin Mill Road, Warner Robins, GA 31088 or Hospice of Central Georgia, 3780 Eisenhower Parkway, Macon, GA 31206. -An online registry may be signed at www.caringbridge.com. -Go to www.mcculloughfh.com to sign the Online Registry for the family. -McCullough Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
