David, Kevin, Jason, Rachel,

It is only today, 7 Aug 2006, that I learn of your fathers passing. I have only met David, when you lived in Okinawa. I was the best man at the wedding of your mother and father! He was a dear friend!! This breaks my heart!! The last time that we saw it each other, I was on a business trip with the Navy to Albany, Ga. Your father came down and we spent the day together. If either of you see this message, please give me a call. My home number is (717) 737-0373, Cell number is (717) 576-8299. I would love to speak with you. He always called me Jeff!! This is truly a say day!!!

Dear David, Kevin, Jason & Rachel,

Your dad was a wonderful, caring and funny man. My most vivid memories are of him teaching our Sunday School classes at shule when I was a kid. How he managed to keep a bunch of pre-teen and teenagers engaged in lively debate about the world around us and our religion, I'll never know. That was no small feat.

I am truly sad to hear about his death. It's a huge loss to all who knew him, and to Sha'arey Israel in particular. My thoughts are with you.

Dear Rachel, Jason, Kevin and David,

Words cannot describe the sorrow we feel on the loss of our dear friend. We always ended our long phone visits with "I love you." How we were looking forward to showing him our hometown, New York City, next October when we were all going for our son Josh's wedding. I cannot imagine what Passover or the High Holidays will be without him at our table. Frank was with us for over 20 years at those holiday celebrations. He was truly family to us.

May his memory be a blessing to you always.

Frank, what a dear friend, one of the first people I came to know at the Synagogue. You and I often attended the theatre together, as well as going out to dinner. Thank you for the memories Frank. Your friend - Howard

I just found out about Frank's passing. I remember when Frank joined what was then Sherah Israel. I was just a kid. I remember Rachel and Jason, who were basically my peers. Frank became such a vital part of the congregation and loved hanging out with us as children and teens. I haven't been back to Macon in a long time, but I was saddened to hear about Frank from my father. My thoughts go out to his family.
