Tommy & Family:
One of my favorite things about Aunt Grace was her laugh. May your memories of her comfort you. Know that she is with the Lord and our other loved ones.

Tommy,
I am so very sorry to hear about your momma. I had the pleasure of knowing her as I was growing up on Elko Road. Then when I started having my babies, there she was to hold and take care of them. She would tell me if I had the house to warm or if I had them dressed to warm. After my first daughter was born she would come to visit Hallie Ruth next to my momma's. Hallie always said she wasnt coming to see her anymore but to see Brittni. There are so many kids, teenagers and adults in Perry that Ms.Grace held even before their grandparents. Now God has another special angel to help him rock those precious babies in heaven.

It was such a joy to work with Mrs. Sledge in the nursery at Perry Hospital. She was a very wise and loving lady. When I got married she gave me a beautiful journal to keep memories in, and when I had my daughter she gave me a crochet afghan to hold her in. I will always treasure those gifts and my memories of her. Tommy, may you be comforted in knowing she was a special blessing in the lives of many people.

One of the first pictures we have of our son is him perched up on Miss Grace's shoulder. Her love of those babies showed and this community was very blessed to have her. May your memories bring you comfort as you go through this difficult time.

I was deeply saddened to learn of Ms. Grace's passing. She was a very sweet lady that I enjoyed working in the nursery with many years ago. She always had a way with those little babies. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.
