Hicks Family

I had the opportunity to know Mr. Grover through my work with the Sheriff's Office. I dealt with him on a regular basis there and as he called many games I participated in. He was a class act and a great man. I hope you find comfort in the good memories and that he is home. May God keep you and hold you during this time.

Grover was like family. He and I officiated my SIAC football games and he would ride with my wife and I to the games. We always enjoyed his company. He was a kind and caring friend and we loved him dearly. May Grover REST IN PEACE.

I know that the family doesn't know me, however, I knew Mr. Hicks through his fairness as he umpired many of my softball games on base. I only know him in that way but I know that he was ALWAYS fair! God bless you all in your time of grief.
