We were sorry to read of the death of Harvey E. Sullivan in the Macon Telegraph. My mother is one of his first cousins, the daughter of his aunt Florrie Lou Sullivan (Mrs. B. B. Cone). My father just passed away earlier this month, so we know a bit of what you are going through. We pray that God will comfort you in your loss. We have never had the priviledge of meeting, but since we are "distant relatives" I would love to hear from you. Harvey E. Sullivan, Sr. was a very special uncle to my mother, Mary Frances Cone, and since her father was no longer living, Harvey Sr. was the one who walked her in and gave her away at her wedding to James W. Hawkins. I noticed that Harvey was a member of the Fist Baptist Church. My husband and I are Southern Baptist IMB missionaries in Guinea, West Africa, but I am in the US because of my father's death. -- I have recently become interested in genealogy, and learning about our extended family. And, if you are interested, I'd be glad to share the information that I have about our common ancestors.
Be assured of our prayers.
