Hazel (Young) Martin -DUBLIN - Mrs. Hazel (Young) Martin went home to be with her Savior on 30 December at Emory University Hospital. She was a beloved child of God, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church. -Welcoming her to Heaven were her husband, Hubert Martin; her grandson Christopher Ryan Johnson; her parents, William Herbert Young Sr. and Nora Young; her sister, Ann Young; her brothers, J. C. Young and Rev. William Herbert (Buddy) Young, Jr. -Left to cherish her memories here on earth are her children, William Gary Martin, Sr. (Barbara), Marietta, GA; Rev. Jerry Martin (Arlene) and Kenny (Jenny) Martin of Dublin, Phyllis (John) Johnson, Warner Robins and Marcia (Vic) Malave, San Antonio, TX; her grandchildren, Anita (Mal) Duncan, Hochston; Bill Martin (Kristi), Dacula; Michael (Sheila) Martin, Michelle (Henry) Snellgrove, Kenny (Kelly) Hightower, Scott (Jacky) Hightower, Dublin; Marty (Verna) Johnson, Bethlehem; Crystal (Mike) Rowland, Grayson; Jamie (Kara) Martin, Vidalia; Dr. Brian (Dr. Michelle) Malave, Sandy Malave, Puerto Rico; Sgt. Judson Martin, U.S. Army, Presidio, California. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren. Her sisters, Willa Mae (Lamar) Beckham, Wrightsville and Totsie (Bobby) Coleman, Rentz, GA. -Mr. and Mrs. Martin were long-time business owners of Martin Transfer and Storage in East Dublin. -Visitation will be Sunday, January 1 at Townsend Funeral Home in Dublin, GA from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. -Graveside services conducted by Rev. Jim Fennell will be held Monday, January 2nd, at 2P.M., Dublin Memorial Gardens. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
