Last year at our 50th year celebration, Prate was so full of life and seemed to be so at peace. Whereas death is an appointment that we all have to make, it still hurts when we lose a friend and a loved one. I pray that GOD will strengthen all of you.

My heart goes out to the both of you your brother "Prate" will be miss by you and other memmbers of the family. Yes! I am one of the oldest friend left. Jimmy Hill and Wedell McIntosh has passed on. Fifty eight years of friebdship. 1952 -2010.

Prate Will always live in me. He was a brother to me. we had so much fun talking music, business and just what ever came up. I will miss him and hope the family have my condolences. Prate and Otis Redding are together again.

My heartfelt condolences to the Bailey family and especially to his loving and devoted sister, Alice and his elder twins, Phillip and Phyllis whom I got to know while living in Phila. "Prate" will always be remembered for his jovial, friendly and good-natured personality and that everlasting smile he always gave to others. He was a true Ballard-Hudson & Tindall Heights Alumnus, who we all regarded.
