Jason James Bailey, 39, of Danville passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2026. Born on August 16, 1986, in Plainfield, New Jersey, he was the son of Colleen Rose and James Patrick Bailey.

He had attended Northhampton Senior High School in Pennsylvania. Jason was a writer and had written "Commstarr and the Time Keepers". He enjoyed playing the guitar and keyboard, being in nature and the outdoors, and studying history. He loved chocolate ice cream and spending time with his nephews.

Jason is survived by his parents, Colleen (Mike) Rose of Danville and James Bailey (Teresa Pettit) of Winchester; sister, Amanda Bailey of Nicholasville: nephews: Rylan and Kyler Watt; grandparents: Kathleen and Curtis Tindall and Debra Carlino, all of Pennsylvania. He was also loved by many other aunts, uncles, and friends.

He is preceded in death by grandparents: Esther Castle, Denny Hobe Abbott, and Charles Reed Bailey, and Frank Carlino.

A funeral service will be held at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at Noon. Visitation will be from 11 AM until the time of service. Bro. Travis Alltop will officiate. Burial will follow in Lexington Cemetery.
