Dear Florence,
We were just devastated when we returned home Sunday and learned of Horace's death. He was such an outstanding Christian, and we will miss his friendly smile and warm handshake. We know that God will be very close to you and comfort you.

Our deepest sympathy in your loss. Horace and Florence were wonderful neighbors and freinds for many years to my folks in Macon. I will always remember his beautifully manicured lawn and flowers and think of him often as the plants and flowers he shared with me continue to bloom and multiply. He was a very generous, thoughtful, and sweet man and I am thankful my family knew him.
