Hubert Ronald "Ronny" Chapman -PLAINS - Hubert Ronald "Ronny" Chapman, age 56, of 110 Walters Street, Plains, GA, died Thursday in an Albany hospital. Funeral services will be held 3P.M. Sunday in Dixon United Methodist Church, burial will be in Dixon United Methodist Church Cemetery. The Revs. Tom Ivey, Frank Chapman, Bill Huddle and Mr. Gordon Duff will officiate. -Mr. Chapman was born in Peach County and was Executive Vice-President of Citizens Telephone Company in Leslie, member of Dixon United Methodist Church, Plains United Methodist Church, Lions Club, taught school at Plains High School 1970 until 1976, member of the City Council in Plains, graduate of Crawford County High in 1966 and Georgia Southwestern College in 1970. -Survivors include his wife, Alma J. Chapman of Plains, son and daughter-in-law, Ronny and Liza Chapman of Gainesville; parents, Hubert and Hilda Chapman of Lizella; brother, Mickey and his son, Kevin Chapman of Macon; sister, Trish and Johnny Estes, and their children, Laura, Mike, and Ashlen Lower, Stephanie and Katie Estes all of Fort Valley, several aunts and uncles, cousins, mother-in-law, Josie Collazo of Columbus. -The family will be at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Chapman: 6628 Marshall Mill Road, Lizella and receive friends at Crest Lawn Funeral Home Saturday 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. -Contributions in Mr. Chapman name may be made to Dixon United Methodist Church: 6637 Sandy Point Road, Lizella, GA 31052 or the American Cancer Society: 804 Cherry Street, Macon, GA 31201. -Crest Lawn Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
