This saddens me so. I had known James many years. His mother and father were very good friends of my family (Baxley). I knew his former wife very well also. My sincerest symphathy and prayers go to his family. We have lost a very nice man.

I am so sorry to hear that James has passed away. He was a great man.
He, his former wife and all her family were very close friends of my family, the Hollands.
My sympathy goes to his wife, whom I have not had the priveledge to meet, and all his family.
Most fondly,
Mike & Karen (Holland) Taylor

Dear Chambless Family,

I am so sorry to hear of James's passing. He and my dad worked for many years at CB&T and have remained friends ever since. James was responsible for turning us on to the magic of Georgia football, a passion for which we still hold close to our hearts. We also spent many Saturdays hunting with him and his brother Bob at the family farm in Marion County. James was a true gentleman who always carried himself with class. He treated others with dignity and respect and his integrity was always beyond reproach. He dearly loved his family and friends and will be deeply missed by all. Today our world is a little smaller because he has left our presence, but we are grateful, and our lives richer, for having known such a wonderful man.

May God bring strength and comfort to you now and in the days ahead.

GO DAWGS!!
