Macon, GA- Services for Jerald Dewayne "JD" Corbin are 11:00 A.M., TODAY at Glorious Hope Baptist Church with interment in Woodlawn Park Cemetery. Corbin was a Captain D's employee for over 10 years. Survivors include: sisters, Angela (Bryant) Butts, Atlanta and Carolyn Corbin, Macon; grandmother, Ida Mae Floyd, Macon; sister-in-law, Lisa Powell-Corbin, Macon; and other relatives

I've had the chance to be in the company of jerald. My God, he was truly a happy spirit. On a cold rainey night, we all grieved under the tent. He let me borrow his jacket, and I didn't get the chance to give it back. Now, his jacket hangs in my closet on a hanger. We laughed, cried, shared tender touch, and just tried to accept what the lord had called to happen. And now this has happened, and still we cry, but in time we will meet again. Not sure if I will have your jacket. Much love.

Angela and Carolyn, my heart goes out to each of you. I know that this is a difficult time for you ladies, and there are no words that can lessen your sorrow. Jerald will be missed.
