Macon, Georgia - Funeral Services for Jimmy Hayes will be held 11 AM Friday, October 28, 2022 in the Chapel of Jones Brothers Mortuary. Interment Services will follow at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Milledgeville GA. Mr. Hayes, 71, passed away Sunday, October 23, 2022.
Survivors include his wife, Lottie Hayes; three children, Chequeta Hayes-Quartey (Sam), Angie Maynard (Billy), and Tracy Billings (Ken); sister, Dianne Hayes Scott; six grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Family Request, NO PUBLIC VIEWING. SOCIAL DISTANCING WILL BE MANDATORY AND FACE MASKS ARE REQUIRED.
Jones Brothers Mortuary, 3035 Millerfield Road, Macon.

No words can express the deep pain we feel in our hearts today, Jimmy was our brother and uncle too. The way he would light up a room upon entering, the way everybody was so glad to see him and whenever we did see him we would yell, Jim Bob! His jokes, his stories, that beautiful smile, always had an uplifting word for everybody.

God puts people in ours life for a short period of time and it´s up to us to make sure that we cherish them. Jimmy and I did just that. I met him in 1981 and ours friendship lasted for 41 years. We had so much fun laughing and just hanging out at work talking about life. We visit him at their home and had a very nice visit talking with Him and Lottie before he went to the hospital. I am going to miss my true friend.
