Newnan, GA- Mr. Joe Wright, 66, of Newnan passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at Brightmoor Hospice in Griffin. He was born February 20, 1949 in Orlando, FL to the late James Harold Wright & Izzetta Stokes Wright.
Joe honorably served in the U.S. Army as an Airborne Ranger. He retired after many years of service as a Captain with the Coweta County Sheriff's Office. After retirement from law enforcement, he worked for several years selling RV's at Camping World.
The funeral is Friday, October 23, 2015 at 2 o'clock in the chapel of McKoon Funeral Home with Rev. Kevin Couch officiating. The visitation is Thursday evening between 5-8 at McKoon Funeral Home, 38 Jackson St, Newnan.
