John Knight Obituary

John Thomas Knight -MILLEDGEVILLE - John Thomas Knight, 78, died Sunday, November 23, 2008. -Graveside services will be held at 2 P.M., Wednesday at Memory Hill Cemetery with Dr. Jerry Pickard officiating. -Mr. Knight was a native and life-long resident of Milledgeville. He was co-owner and general manager of the Wilkinson County Telephone Company for 35 years and was now retired. He was a graduate of Georgia Military College and served in the United States Navy. -He was preceded in death by his parents William Nathaniel and Anna May King Knight; his wife, Willette Tennille Knight; two brothers, Richard Knight and William Knight. He was a member of the First Baptist Church. -Survivors include two daughters, Deborah Jackson and husband David, and Jane Knight and husband Steve and his granddaughter, Gracie Jackson all of Milledgeville. -The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M., at Moore's Funeral Home. -Visit: www.mooresfuneralhome.com to express tributes.
