May 21, 1932 - July 2, 2025
Macon, Georgia - Funeral Services for Johnny William Fambro, Sr. will be held 3 PM Thursday, July 10, 2025 at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Bolingbroke, GA. Interment Services will follow at Union Bibb Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Zebulon Rd., Macon. Mr. Fambro, 93, passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2025.
Survivors include his children, Carl G. (Sharon) Fambro, Vicki Fambro, Johnny (Willa) Fambro, Jr., Julia (Benjamin) Montgomery, Arletha (Franklin) Dixon and a host of other relatives and friends.
Public viewing will be held Wednesday, July 9, 2025 from 3:30 PM until 4:30 PM.
Jones Brothers Mortuary has charge of arrangements.

To the Fambro family, I give my deepest condolences on your loss. I came into Mr. Johnny Sr's life as one of his caregivers, I ended up gaining a family. The stories he told me, along with the knowledgeable advice he gave me were greatly needed at the right time. Many days we sung gospel songs to each other allowing God's presence to be felt more in your house. Thank you for everything Mr.Johnny Sr. Take your rest Mr.Johnny Sr you've earned some amazing wings.

Mr.Johnny Fambro Sr, known to me as Pops. I had the pleasure of being one of his caretakers and I'm gonna miss him alot. I found out that we knew a lot of the same people on my side of town. He was funny, and a walking Encyclopedia of knowledge; and had lot of friends.
He taught me how to fix things at night when he didn't want to go to bed!! Hilarious he was and again I will miss him dearly.
