Joseph "Joe" Robert Harper, Jr. -MACON - Joseph "Joe" Robert Harper, Jr., 77, died Wednesday morning at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 2P.M., Friday at Snow's Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue with burial in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Paul Lavender and Mr. Neal Grantham will officiate. The family will meet friends from 6:00 until 8:00P.M., Thursday at the funeral home and may be contacted at the residence. -Mr. Harper, son of the late Joseph Robert Harper, Sr. and Mary Iva Perry Harper, was born in Birmingham, AL and had lived in Macon since 1964. He was a U. S. Army Veteran and was retired after thirty-seven years with Bassett Furniture. -Survivors include his wife, Thelma G. Harper of Macon; his daughter, Mary Ann Steinbach of Macon; his son, William Harper of Macon; his granddaughter, Ivy Steinbach of Macon and several nieces and nephews. -Snow's Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue has charge of arrangements.
